A German tale.  A couple wants a baby so bad that the woman said she didn't care what kind of baby that she had.  When they finally get a son, he looks like a hedgehog.  He is ridiculed and his father treats him badly so he finally leaves.  Much later a king is lost in the woods when he stumbles upon the hedgehog's castle.  The Hedgehog feeds him and the king want to repay him.  He tells him that he will visit in one years time and will take the first thing that greets him on his return.  Thinking his dog will be the first, he agrees.  When he gets home, his daughter is the first instead and so a year goes by.  When the hedgehog arrives, he is married to the daughter.  Can anything break the enchantment that Hans the Hedgehog is under?
