When Hans doesn't show up for work, Kenji investigates.  It appears that he's been captured by Genom.  Kenji takes off and, with help from Yuki, gets into the building to find Hans in a tank.  They take him out and try to escape but cannot before the head of Genom shows up in a body just like Hans'.  Hans wakes up and his body starts to change but he grabs the head of Genom.  Hans wants Kenji to kill him while he is still himself but Kenji can't do it.  The rest of the AD Police enter and Karen, thinking that Hans is being attacked by a Boomer, shoots the Boomer.  She doesn't know that the Boomer was Hans.
