Bantaro takes Jiyuu to the doctor but Sai shows up and take her home instead.  He doesn't like doctors after what happened to his wife.  At home, Shino's mother shows up but cannot help her.  She has a fever even though her body is not reacting like it does.  Sai uses his body to take the heat away from her and in doing so causes memories of his wife's death and Jiyuu's reactions to it.  Later, Jiyuu awakens but several ninja are now at the house.  Bantaro and his stooges are fighting them with Koinosuke.  Jiyuu asks her fahter how best to fight ninja's and he tells her that they respond to bluff.  She ties a fake eyepatch on and dresses up like Jubei and they take off.  Shiro, meanwhile, is at Jiyuu's new teacher's house recovering.
