The peacemaker responsible for the killing at Taurus appears on the path and takes Shannon and Raquel.  Pacifica, who was in the back of the cart at the time, goes off to find them when she runs into Leo.  Leo is still torn by his feeling for her and his "duty" as a knight.  Pacifica then sees the minstrel and offers him her hand in exchange for help in finder her siblings.  Leo won't cut her hand off but the minstrel agrees nevertheless.  When they find them, Zepheris has just accepted Shannon as her new temporary master.  Zepheris combines with him to form a dragon and they are both able to defeat the peacemaker.
