Meideen, contfronted by Dokufu and Angusson, refused to stop the migration of women off the planet.  Even when presented with the idea that his second choice for Ambassador has turned against him, he refuses and is shot in the head by Dokufu.  Jinto's reaction gets him branded a coward by Angusson.  The rebellion contracts Lafiel hoping to use Jinto as a bargaining chip to get the emigration of the women to stop.  When contronted, Lafiel is saddened to Jinto like this but refuses.  When Angunsson threatens to kill Jinto because he'd rather die that face the consequences, Sobaash informs him of the Abh Hell.  Lafiel must leave Jinto on Lobnas II while continuing the  loading of women onto the transport ships.
