Lafiel's ships enter the sord inassailed and meet up with Admiral Spoor's devestated fleet.  After their mission is completed, everyone fears the worst for Jinto.  Meanwhile, Bebaus enters the sord near where the Gosroth was destroyed and the war started.  He finds no enemy but he does find Lafiel's father Debeusec with his fleet.  Debeusec leaves Bebaus to finish up there as he heads out to liberate Jinto's homeworld.  Meanwhile on Lobnas II, Jinto is having a hard time finding food and water and staying away from the prisoners.  He remembers many things and continues to think about Lafiel as he gets weaker and weaker.
