Jose remembers several things about finding Henrietta, the processes in which the girls augmented physically and the processes that they undergo for conditioning.  He also remembers taking Henrietta out to a resturaunt in order to teach her how to fit in with society better.  When the waiter removed the silverware, thinking that he was going to use the knife on Jose, Henrietta attacked him.  Later, Henrietta awakens from the surgery to repair her arm and is crying from a dream.  She heads back to her room where she goes to tea at Claes' room.  After this, she goes to the rooftop with Jose where, expecting to be punished, she is greeted with a telescope instead.  Jose proceeds to look at the stars with her and give her a course in astronomy.  She tells Jose that he knows everything and he agrees.
