Chief Aramaki and Motoko are in London for an anti-terrorist seminar.  They have some time left over and so the Chief visits an old friend that runs a wine bank.  She tells him of her fears that organized crime is laundering money through her bank but he can't do anything outside his jurisdiction.  When two thugs enter the building and take them prisoner, things get exciting.  The police arrive and the Chief thinks that they are there for more than just saving the hostages.
