Kyoichi has a recurring dream about crosses and airplanes.  He tells his friends Makoto and Yoshihiko about how lonely he is.  Later he sees Takuya, an art student who wears a cross earring and realizes that he works with the guy.  They start hanging out together, realizing that they are both lonely guys.  Makoto gets the wrong idea about their friendship as Kyoichi is just trying to help Takuya talk to the girl that he likes.
