While the detectives are interviewing the old woman, another young girl is out in the rain as a tsunami heads toward Japan.  The young girl, Taeko,  is running from something which we later discover is the fact that her father had a video camera in her room watching her.  As the old woman describes what she saw the night Tsukiko was attacked, Taeko is hit by Lil' Slugger.  At the same time, the two detective tell Tsukiko about how they know she hit herself over the head that night and what the old woman told them.  She reacts violently as if she hit.  The detectives that her to the break room.  Taeko later awakens in a hospital room with her father, Hirukawa, next to her bed.  He is distressed to find out that she has anmesia.
