After feeling Lucy awaken, Nana returns to the house where she and Lucy face off once again.  Mayu breaks it up and Lucy reverts back to Nyuu.  Nana, seeing that Nyuu is so docile, ends up having supper with everyone.  Kurama now has a flashback where we learn of his employement with the facility.  He is investigating the malformations in little girls around the Kanagawa Prefecture area.  After seeing the torture they are put through he has second thoughts but when he is confronted by a little girl holding the head of her latest victim, he is convinced of the diclonious threat.  Later, due to the diclonious's vectors touching him, his daughter is born deformed and he is about to kill her when his wife, extremely sick from giving birth, asks him to spare her life just before she falls dead at his feet.  He agrees to spare her life.  After Kurama's daughter is born, they are able to determine that dicloious births happen after contact with vectors.  In the present, Director Kakuzawa decides to send Number 35, the only confirmed 3rd generation diclonious, to kill Nana and Lucy.  She has 26 visible vectors is is even more blood thirsty than Lucy.
