Lucy remembers her times in grade school after she killed her classmates and went on a killing spree.  She also remembers meeting Kouta and having a great time hanging out with him.  They spend time at the zoo and and Lucy has one of the best days of her life but she cannot stop think about killing and asks Kouta to kill her if she cannot stop.  He doesn't know what she's talking about and she plays it off.  When she asks him who he going to the festival with he tells her his cousin.  Not wanting to hurt her feelings, he tells her his cousin is a boy but, when Lucy sees them together she finds out the truth.  She kills more people around her a the festival but this time there are witnesses.
