The girls at the dormitory are worried when they find out that Keitaro and Naru have seemingly gone off together that they are going to elope and commit suicide.  They set out to find them - Mitsune and Motoko together following Shinobu and Kaolla.  Meanwhile, Keitaro and Naru run into a girl that he met at Tokyo U named Mutsumi who has also failed the entrance exam three times and is trying to get to her home - which happens to be on the other side of Japan.  They help he and along the way are seen by both sets of girls looking for them.  They finally arrive, washed ashore, on an island where Mutsumi tries to push Keitaro and Naru together by coming on to Keitaro and making Naru jelous.  Just before Keitaro can tell Naru that he has feelings for her, help arrives.
