When a priest is killed in his church, all signs point to a young man from his congregation who appears to be mentally unstable.  Even though he admits to the crime, Sara is not sure that he did do it.  She learns more from the another priest about possession, which is what the victim thought was happening to the suspect.  Another priest named Del Toro, who seems to recognize the Witchblade gives Sara more cause to suspect that more is going on than is evident.  After calling forth the dead priest, she confronts Del Toro in the church.  When she learns his true form a battle breaks out and supernatural forces are unleashed.
