Mao, thinking that Kai is truly in love with Saya, forces situations to get them alone together on a shopping errand.  Meanwhile, Solomon is told by Nathan that he must see Diva's babies.  He goes but with the motive to kill Diva.  He winds up getting getting it handed to him instead.  David, Julia and the gang learn of some devastaing news having to do with Cinq Fleche's food distributions and the Chiropteran infections around the world.  What makes matters worse is that Diva's singing apparently causes the symptoms to manefest in almost 100% of those infected.  She's scheduled for a live world-wide broadcast soon.  While shopping Kai tells Saya that he wants her by his side when all this is over and he re-opens their fathers shop.  She remembers back to the promise she made with Haji that, when this is all over, he is to kill her by his own hands.
