Axel, Renton's grandfather, who has been working on the new ref board for the Nirvash, has finally finished.  It appears that it may be too late though since his factory has been under observation and the military are on their way.  The Gekko help a cargo ship from the destroyed town with supplies.  Eureka is in another funk since she somehow blames herself for the destruction.  Wanting to do what she can for the survivors, she helps load supplies.  When a little boy whose parents were killed sees Eureka, he notices how her eyes look and wets his pants in fear.  Meanwhile, Axel escapes from the military with the ref board and destroys his warehouse.  He launches the board into a Ley Line so that the Gekko can catch up with it.  The Ageha Squad fire more missiles into the scub coral creating another Coralian which attacks yet another city.  Anemone and TheEnd are sent to observe it against Dominic's better judgment.  The Nirvash launches without the board when the Gekko sees the battle ship.  When Anemone sees the launch she changes her goals and attacks the Nirvash.  The Nirvash catches the ref board and proceeds to dominate TheEnd with it's new configuration.  However, nothing they can do will stop the Coralian killing many more people which distubs Eureka highly.
