Renton runs to his sister and finds himself talking to her in a library.  She tells him that they are in the control cluster of the Coralians.  She fills Renton in on a little bit of history as they learn that the planet they are on is actually Earth.  Humans have returned after thousands of years since leaving due to the Coralian "invasion".  Dewey knows this and is intent on eliminating the Coralians but the Coralians have only just wanted to communicate with humans and this was seen as an attack.  With a launch imminent, Diane tells Renton that the only way to stop the Limit of Questions being reached and a tear in the universe from happening is for humans to merge with the Coralians.  Renton thinks that there is another way.  Apparently so does Eureka who is talking to Adroc at the same time.  The Coralian decides to allow them the chance to do something about it and send them in the Nirvash back.
