The Scub Coral control cluster has been destroyed.  Dewey takes his ship into the hole in the mountains to finish the job.  The Gekko has discovered the hole and intends to head down also.  Captain Jurgens decides to stay above to fend off the military.  Renton, Eureka and the kids are in the Nirvash when it suddenly starts moving.  It appears that it is trying to establish a new control cluster but Renton doesn't want it to.  Meanwhile up above, Dewey's ship arrives and begins a bombardment of the Nirvash.  The Gekko soon follows and Holland is able to get inside Dewey's ship and disable it.  Dewey and Holland fight while a ship carrying Dr Bear appears warning them not to kill Dewey.  Dewey reveals why by showing them the Compac Drive that he's had imbedded in his chest.  He warns Holland that if he dies then so does the world as he raises his gun to his head.  Anemone and Eureka freak out as strange looking collars appear around their necks and Eureka fully tranforms.
