Re-l has recuperated and tries to make her escape from the hospital.  She intends to ask her grandfather about the people living outside and why he has lied about all of that.  She gets no answer from her grandfather, just a lot of bull from the council.  Daedalus later shows Re-l the results from the dead Proxy.  He tells her that this is the Monad Proxy that was taken during the invasion of the Mosque dome.  He shows her how the Proxy's cells appear to be immortal and that it is considered to be a god-like creature that may hold the key to humanity's survival.  Meanwhile, Raul is informed that the Proxy is no longer in Romdo but vows to continue the search anyway.  He asks for the long range vehicles to be taken from the lower city in order to follow it.  Re-l and Daedalus are attacked in the hospital by AutoReivs that have been modified with a combat version of the Cogito virus and Re-l is killed.
