The three are staying at an inn.  While Fuu is in the hot spring, Mugen steals her diary so that he and Jin can learn more about this mysterious samurai that smells of sunflowers.  They relive the past few weeks through her diary and learn her thoughts on them and their actions.  In the end they aren't any nearer to discovering the truth behind her quest.
