Ginji defeats Makubex only to finds that it was all a VR trap to enable him to finish his work on the atomic bomb.  Ban is able to use his jagon to allow Makubex to see what would happen if he presses the trigger.  During the dream, Ban gets the control to the bomb and disables it.  Makubex runs off to kill himself but Ginji saves him and everybody gets along afterward.  Later, the group that hired the GetBackers and the others reneges on their payment and Akabane kills them all.
