Sousuke, after being scolded by Kaname for his safety theme at the school festival, invites her to an island - just the two of them.  She nervous at first, until the finds out that she's actually going to a Mithril base on the island.  A Situation arises where the submarine must take a detour and cannot make it to the island and so Tessa orders Sousuke and Kaname to board the submarine.  Once there Kaname learns that they are honoring her for her valor and also celebrating the one year birthday of the ship.
