Kaname is living in fear of whomever is following her.  She comes up with a plan and put it into motion.  She finds Wraith and tries to get him to talk, not believing that he's with Mithril.  He gets taken out and Xia Yu Lan shows up to kill Kaname.  Kaname is able to get away and to stun her.  Now Leonard arrives, Tessa's brother, and tries to convince Xia to call of her vendetta.  When she doesn't, he has his miniaturized AS kill her.  Leonard tells Kaname he's in love with her, kisses her, leaves Wraith for her and heads out.
