"A TRIUMPH!"

THE GLORY ROAD
led beyond the stars to a far, strange dimension - a world of peril, adventure and enchantment for a war-weary young American. The elements of epic in the great tradition are here - but changed by the talent and magic of Robert Heinlein to create a story as original and striking as his classic STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND.
ROBERT A. HEINLEIN was born in Missouri in 1907, and graduated from Annapolis - where he was a champion swordsman - in 1929, serving on active duty in the Navy for the next five years. He began writing fiction in 1939, and soon became one of the towering figures of science fiction, winning the coveted "Hugo" award with four of his novels - an unequaled record. Mr. Heinlein now lives in California.
