Five commitments to fail-proof your marriage =

Everyone dreams of a fairy-tale marriage - the perfect spouse, the perfect home, the perfect family.  But reality tells us that these expectations don't hold up very long.  Many studies indicate that close to fifty percent of marriages don't make it.  With those odds, is it even possible to have a good marriage - let alone a great one?  New York Times bestselling author and pastor Craig Groeschel insists you can but not if you approach it like everyone else does.

Craig and his wife, Amy, show single adults and married couples how to conquer the odds and find the joy, passion, and strength of a marriage built by God.

Craig and Amy open their hearts, share personal experiences, and walk you through five powerful commitments you can make to fail-proof your marriage:
  1. Seek God.
  2. Fight fair.
  3. Have fun.
  4. Stay pure.
  5. Never give up.

If you earnestly choose to do all five of these things, you will discover a richer, deeper, more authentic marriage.

Starting right now - from this day forward.

CRAIG GROESCHEL is the founding and senior pastor of LifeChurch.tv, a pacesetting multicampus church and creators of the popular and free YouVersion Bible App.  He is the author of several books, including Fight, Altar Ego, Soul Detox, Weird, The Christian Atheist, and It. Craig, his wife, Amy, and their six children live in Edmond, Oklahoma.

AMY GROESCHEL is a home educating mom and leads LifeChurch.tv's women's ministry.  She is also the founder of Branch15, a nonprofit housing ministry that helps marginalized women and has co-authored SOAR, a Bible study for women.

  • I try to maintain page numbers for audiobooks even though obviously there aren't any. I do this to keep track of pages read and I try to use the Kindle version page numbers for this.
  • Synopses marked with an asterisk (*) were generated by an AI. There aren't a lot since this is an iffy way to do it - AI seems to make stuff up.
  • When specific publication dates are unknown (ie prefixed with a "Cir"), I try to get the publication date that is closest to the specific printing that I can.
  • When listing chapters, I only list chapters relevant to the story. I will usually leave off Author Notes, Indices, Acknowledgements, etc unless they are relevant to the story or the book is non-fiction.
  • Page numbers on this site are for the end of the main story. I normally do not include appendices, extra material, and other miscellaneous stuff at the end of the book in the page count.

See my goodreads icon goodreads page. I almost never do reviews, but I use this site to catalogue books.
See my librarything icon librarything page. I use this site to catalogue books and it has more details on books than goodreads does.
