Coached at Temple Heights High School in Florida as a defensive coordinated and later head coach until 1994. Defensive coordinator from 1995 to 1996 at Armwood High School in Florida and then moved to Marion High School in Indiana in 1997. He became the defensive coordinator at Ben Davis High School in Indiana in 1998 until 2003 when he became the head coach until 2006.

He coached DBs at Wabash College in 2007 and then was defensive coordinator at Lambuth University from 2008 to 2009.
