Played for the Rochester Jeffersons in New York - a team that later went on to be a founding member of the NFL - and later for the Chicago Cardinals (later known as the St Louis and then Arizona Cardinals).

He was head coach at Columbia (later known as the Loras Duhawks) from 1922 to 1924.  He was also the head coach at DePaul University from 1925 until 1931.
