2024 Season

Changes / Notes:
  1. First year of the twelve-team playoff system.
  2. Coaches will be able to communicate with one player on the field on offense and one player on defense through a helmet-mounted device.  The communication will be cut off when the play clock reaches 15 seconds or when the ball is snapped, whichever comes first.
  3. Teams will be allowed to use up to 18 computer tablets on the sideline and in the locker room to review game footage and make adjustments.
  4. Automatic time out at the 2:00 mark in the second and fourth quarters.
