This episode starts with Fatora finding Parnasse in bed instead of Alielle. Parnasse is Alielle's bother. She brings Princess Rune in with all of the commotion.

Qawoor awakens around noon and tells Miz and Fujisawa that she is worried about her attendant Parnasse. She also sees a picture of Fujisawa's class with Makoto in it. Makoto, in the meantime, is trying to figure out how the dimensional portal and the relic are interconnected.

Shayla is about to ask Makoto to lunch when she sees Nanami bringing lunch to him. They argue about their intentions towards Makoto when they see Qawoor enter Makoto's house. She thanks him for saving her life and they exchange each others belongings. Makoto brings up the strange patterns on her tunic. He explains that he thinks the pattern and the device, the relic are related somehow.

As Qawoor hold the relic, it starts to move and then jumps out of her hands. She grabs Makoto just as Shayla and Nanami enter. Of course, as is always the case, they are jealous and argue with Makoto and Qawoor, how seem to be oblivious of everyone's feelings, blah blah. A bee lands close to Qawoor and she goes crazy. The relic starts to emit a light pattern and then stops.

Shayla tries to persuade Afura and Miz that Qawoor is not worthy to be the next Priestess of Water and she tries to cook up a plan that will show them that she's dangerous when confronted with insects. Afura, Miz and Shayla get Fujisawa to dress as a Bugrom and scare Qawoor but she doesn't react.

The ceremony to bequeath the position of Great Water Priestess of Muldoon to Qawoor gets underway and, for some unknown reason, Makoto has brought the relic with him. Shayla appears to be absent from the ceremony and Katsuhiko attempts to break into Makoto's house with one of his Bugrom in order to get the relic that Makoto has. Shayla shows up there too and accidentally turns on the dimensional portal.

Miz presents Qawoor with the lamp of water as a face appears in the dimensional portal stating "I am the ruler of the universe." Qawoor is announced as the Priestess of Water and is asked to demonstrate her powers. While she uses her powers, the face in the portal says he will take over El Hazard.

The relic that Makoto has starts to react with Qawoor's powers and a white light appears and than all goes black.
