Takemoto return home to see his mother whom he hasn't seen in a while.  He arrives at the hospital where she works but the nurses there tell him she's collapsed due to overwork and is taking some time off.  They also tell him to visit more often, just because he doesn't like his mother's new husband Aida, doesn't mean he needs to ignore his mother.  He remembers how his father died and that he promised to take care of his mother.  He also remembers how things changed when the new man came into their lives.  On the way to see his mother, Aida and Takemoto stop by some batting cages where Aida confides in him about his father, mother and himself.  Shuuji wins ¥300,000 with a lottery ticket Morita bought him.  When Morita finds out Shuuji has to take everyone to an Onsen.  At the onsen, they all have a merry time and create just a little chaos as well.
