Kyoichi and Makoto get a summertime job at the beach with Chiharu's cousin Daisuke.  When they get there Makoto sees her nice looking younger cousin Nao and wants to get to know her better but Daisuke won't allow that to happen.  They are constantly hounded by Daisuke, especially since their work ethic is a little lax.  It doesn't help that Aki and Yumi are there enjoying the sun and not working.  Later, the discover that Nao is frail and has a hard time staying in school due to her illness.
