Keitaro's secret is out that he's not really a Tokyo U student and Naru makes a deal that he must pass the pre-entrance exams or leave.  She helps him study and he discovers that she promised someone fifteen years ago that she would get into Tokyo U also by "accidentally" reading a part of her diary.  He takes the test and apparently fails.  He tries to sneak his stuff out of the apartments but is taken for a thief.  Later, Naru finds out that he never finished grading his test and that he actually passed with enough to qualify him.
