Holland has sent Renton, Eureka and her kids to the brig for leaving the Gekko without orders.  Renton understands but questions why the kids are there too.  Then Moondoggie arrives with weapons and gas masks and tells them that they are under threat of being boarded.  Charles and Ray board the Gekko but Holland has made plans for it.  Ray is captured by Talho and Charles is killed by Holland.  When they allow Ray to kiss Charles goodbye, she sets off a bomb hidden in his body and escapes.
