The Gekko lands at the Tressoir Research Center where the Nirvash was fashioned for repairs to it and the Gekko.  The researchers there can't turn down the change to work with the Type Zero and agree to help them.  One of the men there had made a recording of when the Nirvash was found and Eureka and Renton watch it.  Renton is amazed to see his grandfather was a big part in the development of the Nirvash.  Talho decides that she needs to change and so cuts her hair and dons a new outfit.  Eureka sees this and takes her hat off as part of her change.
