Rossiu puts Simon on trial after riots break out.  Leeron comes up with a way to have the new armor defeat the Mugan.  After the trial and his death sentence, the Mugan attack.  Simon takes Gurren Lagann out to defeat them with one small concession, he is to be rigged with explosive in case he tries to escape.
