Sousuke's team is pulled from their assignment but are given a week to spend in Tokyo.  Sousuke is told to go ahead with his class trip and so he boards an airplane with Kaname and about 400 of their classmates.  Unfortunately, the information that was supposed to have been destroyed in Russia was copied by Gauron and he is on the plane also.  He hijacks the plane and takes Kaname hostage in order to extract the information.  Sousuke sneaks out, finds a bomb in the luggage compartment and informs Mithril of the situation.  They order him to give the passengers top priority but, for the first time ever, he appears to put his personal feeling before his orders and tries to get to Kaname.
