L uses Misa to get in with the Yotsuba Corporation.  While at the interview Misa is touched by Rem with a piece of the death note.  Rem tells Misa about her being the second Kira and about Light.  Even though she doesn't remember, she understands.  Misa learns from Rem who the new Kira is and takes it upon herself to get a confession from him.
