Near tells the task force of his ideas about false rules in the Death Note and begins working on placing the idea into the task force members heads about Light being Kira.  Aizawa calls Near and, Light realizing that things are getting sticky, has Misa give up her Death Note and he give his up as well, while keeping some of the pages to retain his memory.
