Amalgam kidnaps envoys from North and South China in the process of peace talks.  They take them into an underground tunnel that extends under the Yangtze River.  Mithril heads in to rescue the kidnapped people and must rely on a communications expert to help the relay their signals in the enclosed tunnel.  They soon learn that they've been lured into a trap.
