'If this is a top secret naval camp, I'm Lord Nelson!' Ace has a poor opinion of the security arrangements at Commander Millington's North Yorkshire base - and she's less comfortable in 1940s fashions. But the Doctor has graver matters on his mind. Dr Judson, inventor of the Navy's ULTIMA code-breaker, is using the machine to decipher the runic inscriptions in the crypt of the nearby church. Commander Millington is obsessed with his research into toxic bombs that he insists will hasten the end of World War Two. A squad of the Red Army's crack Special Missions brigade lands on the Yorkshire coast with instructions to steal the ULTIMA device - unaware that Millington has turned it into a devastating secret weapon. And beneath the waters at Maidens Point an ancient evil stirs... The Doctor uncovers mysteries concealed within villainous plots - but what connects them all to a thousand-year-old curse?

Only a few years from now, a squad of UNIT troops is escorting a nuclear missile through the English countryside. At the nearby archeological dig, knights in armour are fighting battles with broadswords - and guns and grenades. The Doctor arrives on the scene and meets two old friends: Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, called out of retirement to help in the emergency, and Bessie the souped-up roadster. Ace escapes from death by drowning in a submerged spaceship, only to find herself at the mercy of a demon known as the Destroyer. The action is fast and furious, as expected in a script by Ben Aaronovitch, who wrote the classic Remembrance of the Daleks. And why do the knights address the Doctor as 'Merlin'? What is the power of the sword that Ace retrieves from the bottom of the lake? Will Morgaine carry out her threat to destroy the world?

An invasion of meteorites and an environmental crisis! A scientific expedition has disappeared from the bed of the Thames Estuary, where a giant meteorite had landed years previously. Having landed the TARDIS in the same vicinity, the Doctor and Sarah Jane are attacked at night by a vast, roaring creature. Something reminds the Doctor of his encounter with the marine denizens of the planet Pesca, but before long his worst fears are confirmed: strange meteorites are landing all over the world, and the Pescaton invasion has begun. The Pescatons, starring Tom Baker as the Doctor and Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith, was released as an LP record in 1976, and re-released in 1985.

Victor Pemberton, who wrote the original script for the LP, has been variously scriptwriter, script editor and novelizer of several Doctor Who television stories.

The stranger drew himself up to his full height. 'I am the Doctor,' he announced. Disoriented after his regeneration, the Doctor takes the TARDIS to the Earth Colony Vulcan. Ben and Polly are disturbed - the Doctor isn't the man he used to be. The Doctor too is worried. The colonists have found the remains of two Daleks - which they plan to revive. Once revived, the Daleks claim that they are content to serve humanity. Can it really be true? Or do they have their own, more sinister plans? This is a brand-new novelization of a classic Dalek story, which is also the first story to feature Patrick Troughton as the Doctor. It has been unavailable since its broadcast in 1966.

'Apparently the thigh bone had been bitten clean through - with one snap of the teeth.' 'There isn't a creature on Earth capable of doing that!' After a skirmish with an alien warrior in the Middle Ages, Sarah Jane Smith's life as a journalist in Croydon seems rather tame. She decides to track down the enigmatic character who took her back in time; with the Doctor, a good story is never far away. Her intuition pays off. The Doctor and UNIT are called to investigate a grisly murder at Space World, a futuristic new theme park. Tagging along, Sarah and her new colleague Jeremy soon find themselves facing huge crab-like creatures, mind-controlling devices and vicious flesh-eating beetles. And those are just the attractions...

This is an adaptation by Barry Letts of his own radio play, in which Jon Pertwee, Elisabeth Sladen and Nicholas Courtney reprised their roles as the Doctor, Sarah, and Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart. Barry Letts is the writer of several of the scripts for the TV series, and was producer of the show from 1970 to 1974.
