Played from 1983 to 1986 for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

He coached QBs and wide recievers at Wisconsin-Whitewater from 1987 to 1988. He was an assistant coach at Doane University in 1989 and then back at Wisconsin-Whitewater for 1990. He was an assistant coach at the division II University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1994 to 2000. He was the offensive coordinator there from 2004 to 2006. He became the head coach at Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2007 until 2014.
