When Adiane attacks, Nia is revealed to be the Spiral King's daughter - a princess.  Adiane flees in fear of attacking her but is later rebuked by the Spiral Kings since he has rejected Nia.  Die Gurren start to have doubts about Nia's allegiance but she is able to convince them when Adiane appears once again.
