Shirley begins to think that Lelouch may have something to do with a terrorist organization when she is visited by Viletta.  She tries to follow Lelouch to learn the truth.  Meanwhile, Lelouch's Black Knight are called in to help the remnants of the Japanese Liberation Front from Cornelia's marines.  Lelouch uses the JLF members to further his goals when he kills them with an explosive device under their ship.  During the fight afterward, Zero confronted by Suzaku in the Lancelot and is forced to eject.  Shirley, who has come to the docks in search of Lelouch, sees Zero.  She picks up a nearby gun and begins to see a possible chance to avenge her father's death.
