hese two years I have combined since they were relatively mild in the "psychosis" phases.  The doctor's records that I have do not reflect exactly what happened in this period so I am going to reconstruct as much as possible from memory.

Dr Smith left the Oklahoma City Clinic and we were left without a psychiatrist.  Before he left he had placed Jolynne on Lithium and we had to periodically get Lithium level blood test done.  We started seeing Dr Rose, a psychologist, after this happened.

Both years (August of 1995 and October of 1996) we were able to recognize the stages fairly early and would travel to Mississippi or Arkansas to give Jolynne something to do.  The changes of scenery seemed to help her with these problems.

In 1996, Dr Rose took Jolynne off of Lithium and put her on Risperdol for a short time but we decided to halt this since it affected her much the same as Haldol did.
