He coached JV at Redlands High School in California in 1995.  He coached linebackers at California Lutheran University from 1996 to 1999 and he was the defensive coordinator there from 2005 to 2006.  In 2007 he was the co-defensive coordinator for Delta State University in Mississippi and then moved to the DC at Souther Utah University in 2008.
