Coached high school ball as an assistant from 2001 to 2004 at Seagoville High School in Texas and in 2005 at Dallas Lincoln High School. He was offensive coordinator from 2006 to 2013 at Skyline High Sshool and then head coach at South Oak Cliff High School from 2012 until 2014.
